8. John Cena's Comedic Presence Is Fantastic

With news recently breaking that John Cena would be taking yet another hiatus from WWE to film a series of movies - the most notable being Daddy's Home 2 co-starring Mark Wahlberg and Will Ferrell - fans began wondering if we would lose WWE's top star to Hollywood in the same manner we did his former rival, The Rock.

Between his star-making turn in the feature film Trainwreck and his buzzworthy stint hosting Saturday Night Live, Cena has shown a comedic presence not many expected him to possess. While the onscreen character we're all used to is primarily serious, his WWE-sponsored dabbling in humor has typically resulted in "gems" such as "JBL is poopy".

Who would have thought the dude is legitimately uproarious?

In a show rife with solid gags and out-of-nowhere one-liners, Cena's "Lance Catamaran", the czar of commentary for SRW, has some of the best, tossing in quips such as the depressingly delivered "I miss my father" in the middle of promoting an upcoming wrestling match.

Catamaran pines for his 36 days spent as a news anchor in Utica, New York, referencing it multiple times throughout the SRW episodes with a deadpan delivery no doubt meant as a tribute to classic wrestling play-by-play guys like Lance Russell and Gordon Solie, closing the series with a Bill O'Reilly-esque "F*ck it, we'll do it live!"-type moment that pays off an excellent running joke.

Cena is fantastic in this role, and anyone who watches this (which should be every human still breathing) can rest assured he'll represent himself well in his upcoming Hollywood endeavors.
