9 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About Emma

8. This Isn't Her First Release

The future endeavours speech is never an easy conversation to have, but Emma should be used to it by now, having been given her first taste of a WWE firing three years ago.

The Australian was let go in July 2014 in a decision that was thought to be linked with a shoplifting charge that would later be referred to as a "misunderstanding". Considering that WWE wrestlers these days are pretty well-paid, you're kind of inclined to believe that, too.

Emma was out of work for all of a few hours before the company decided that mistakes happen, and the then-25-year-old had a future with them after all. At least one person, it seems, was batting for her backstage - even if it rarely felt like it.

That hunch isn't looking so good now though, and given that it has been a full 24 hours since her release was formally announced, it's unlikely she will be afforded the same stay of execution this time round.
