9 Things You Didn't Know About Xavier Woods

3. Xavier Woods Was A High School Cheerleader

In many ways, Xavier Woods has become more than manager of The New Day than a genuine in-ring threat. This role suits him down to the ground, and never has a trombone been more entertaining. At times he comes across more as a cheerleader than a manager. This should be of little surprise, as Woods actually had a stint as a cheerleader in high school. As mentioned on a number of occasions, Woods wrestled in high school but there was no actual team to wrestle for. To deal with this dilemma, Woods decided to become a cheerleader, thinking it would help his wrestling career. He's doing pretty well right now, so I'm saying it was a fine decision.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
