5. Butterbean Vs. Bart Gunn

Vince McMahon has never subscribed to the maxim "make a virtue out of necessity."

When Bart Gunn won the poorly conceived and dreadfully executed Brawl for All tournament at the expense of Steve Williams- despite the legitimate shoot-contest being designed with the only intent of aggrandising supposed tough-guy 'Dr. Death' - he was quickly made to regret taking the competition seriously.

Rather than push Gunn on the back of his new-found hard-man reputation, he was instead humiliated for his impertinence. For daring to win a contest in which the winner was not pre-ordained, the former Smoking Gunn was given one final fight - opposite professional bruiser Eric 'Butterbean' Esch at WrestleMania XV.

Esch, who'd lost just one fight in his career, quickly made corned-beef of Bart, trouncing him in just 34 seconds. Shortly after, Gunn, appropriately enough, was fired.

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
