9 Unhinged R-Truth Skits That Had You Doubting His Sanity

8. So Many Phobias

In the lead-up to the Money In The Bank pay-per-view in July 2011, R-Truth would claim that he was entering the ladder match against his better judgement. Why? Because he was scared of heights... and spiders. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U6S-UmRVdTw Worrying about whether you're going to have a panic attack climbing a ladder to unlatch a briefcase is one thing. Worrying about whether the briefcase will have spiders in it when he opens it... that's a whole different can of loopy juice. Hilariously, it would later transpire that Truth's fear of heights (acrophobia) had become confused with a fear of spiders (arachnophobia), so in a moment of brilliance he decided he had both. Even better, his fear of heights mutated into a fear of ladders (stepnophobia), which he was later able to conquer by attacking a ladder backstage. He's still terrified of spiders, though.
