9 Unofficial WWE Royal Rumbles

1. 7-Man Raw Rumble (31/01/11)

Seven years later, it still seems somehow hard to believe that Jerry Lawler challenged for the WWE Championship on pay-per-view, but there's video evidence that it actually happened at Elimination Chamber 2011.

To earn his once-in-a-lifetime shot, the Raw commentator beat some of WWE's biggest stars in an impromptu seven-man Royal Rumble held to determine a new number one contender after SmackDown's Alberto Del Rio won the real thing 24 hours earlier.

Neither John Cena, Randy Orton, CM Punk, Sheamus, R-Truth nor John Morrison could prevent the 61-year-old semi-retiree from securing victory, which has to go down as one of the most humiliating defeats of each of their careers.

Unfortunately, though, King couldn't claim victory when it really mattered. In a shocking turn of events, he was beaten by Miz when they met the following month, dashing his hopes of headlining WrestleMania 27 alongside John Cena.
