9 Ups & 1 Down From AEW Dynamite: Holiday Bash

8. Kyle O'Reilly Is All Elite

At the finish of Cassidy Vs. Cole, Bobby Fish was ordered to ringside as a decoy, allowing Kyle O'Reilly to burst through the crowd, swing the match in his old friend's favour, and reunite the Undisputed Era. In AEW.

All Elite Wrestling won the marathon, the sprint, the triathlon, the shooting, the modern pentathlon, everything. NXT won the luge, in fairness, by willingly strapping themselves in for a steep and unstoppable descent.

Before the reunited stable celebrated in front of the crowd, Cole and his promised Christmas gift shared a subtle, crucial look, as if, stemming from the events of the Capitol Wrestling Center this year, they had to make sure this was the play. The small consideration of continuity was appreciated, as was O'Reilly by a hot, shocked crowd. This was a wild angle that breeds so many compelling storyline possibilities and destinations.

Are Cole and O'Reilly truly on the same page?

Has Cole reunited the Undisputed Era as part of a masterplan to avenge his murder/betrayal in 2017?

If so, following Full Gear, will the Bucks reform with Hangman Page to wage this war?

Or is Kenny Omega returning as a babyface to reform the original Elite in a potentially all-time great trios programme?
