9 Ups & 1 Down From AEW Dynamite: Holiday Bash

4. A Beautiful Video Package

Owen Hart Jushin Liger
AEW

It was announced that the respective finals of the dual Owen Hart Cup tournaments will conclude at Double Or Nothing. The achievement itself was contextualised with a heartwarming video package that captured the brilliance of the performer and the man.

Footage was broadcast of his revolutionary work with thanks to New Japan Pro Wrestling in addition to scenes of the interior family life with which he was so besotted. In a moving choice, because Hart's legacy transcends anything so silly as the face/heel alignment, Adam Cole spoke lovingly of Owen's influence, as did Mark Henry, who was extremely close to a man who helped him navigate the political landscape in his early years in the business.

The entire package was as sensitive, loving and touching as you'd have hoped for it to be.
