9 Ups & 3 Downs From Impact Wrestling (Nov 3)

1. Mr. TuesBey Night

It never gets tiresome watching Chris Bey compete. 'The Ultimate Finesser' is changing the game every time he enters a ring, and that's exactly what he did against Trey Miguel this week. Both men put together something truly incredible.

Even before this week, both men were known for their innovative offence, something that only continued to grow last night. For crying out loud, Miguel used a reverse 619 at one point, a move your writer didn't even begin to comprehend as an actual thing until 'The Fresh Prince of Mid-Air' brought it out of nowhere. The early stages of the bout were spent watching the pair put on some sort of athletics display with the amount of flips, rolls, and reversals they had for one another. A blink and you miss it match has always been a trope associated with the X division, but it's the perfect way to describe a match like this.

Bey's diving cutter to end the match was simply gorgeous. Diving into an opponent has strong potential to go wrong - after all, you can't always see where you're going. Bey made it look so effortless, though. It's why he's recognised as one of the world's fastest rising stars today.

Impact Wrestling need to make full use of him while he's on their books. These sorts of performances never go unnoticed, and so it wouldn't be surprising to see other promotions attempt to snatch up the former X Division Champion.
