9 Ups & 4 Downs From Impact Wrestling (5 Jan)

2. When Tenille Comes Knocking

Tenille Dashwood's rivalry vs. Alisha Edwards appears to be over. That deserves an Up on its own, had it not been for Tenille now entering another meaningless story arc.

The Aussie star approached Rosemary backstage, and essentially requested to be 'The Demon Assassin's' new partner to challenge for the Knockouts Tag Team Championships post-Hard To Kill. Why, though? Tenille has gone through far too many partners to warrant actually capturing the titles at any point in her career, something that Madison Rayne, Jordynne Grace, and Alisha can back up with evidence. While Rosemary and Taya Valkyrie may be on the verge of breaking up (more on that later), Rosemary doesn't need to have anyone holding her back.

It's a real shame to say Dashwood would be holding anyone back, but that's all down to the way she's been booked in Impact thus far. She's suffered too many blows to her character that it'll take a miracle to get her back on track anytime soon. If it's actually all about Tenille, then why does she so desperately want to chase the tag team titles? It doesn't make any sense at all.
