9 Ups & 4 Downs From Impact Wrestling (Feb 25)
1. Who Actually Cares?
Considering Rob Van Dam vs. Daga was one of the more hyped matches for this week's show, you'd imagine it would be treated as such. That couldn't have been further from the truth, though.
The action itself was sloppy for the most part in RVD's case - Daga wasn't overly bad, but he could only do so much with his given opponent - and the overall story throughout the bout was the continued annoyance from Katie Forbes towards these Internet trolls. She walked out on 'The Whole F'N Show' at one point, with Van Dam following her back through the curtain, which meant Daga won but only via count out. A deflating ending to what could've been a fine match.
It didn't even end there though, as backstage, Forbes explained her reasoning to RVD, which was more or less exactly what she said last week. Joey Ryan would then chime in, seeing as he'll always be there if either of them needs someone to speak to.
This is the last thing needed for 'The King of Dong Style'. While he doesn't exactly need to be top of the card, he certainly doesn't need to be aligning himself with Rob Van Dam. That's a car crash waiting to happen.
