9 Ups & 4 Downs From Impact Wrestling (Sep 22)

4. All About Tenille

Considering this week marked Tenille Dashwood's first time in the ring since the 14 April edition of Impact Wrestling - the final Impact show with a live audience, by the way - it would have been easy to predict a bit of ring rust for the Aussie Knockout. Five months away from the ring is never an easy thing to come back to, but you would never have guessed Tenille had been gone. She looked on top form against Jordynne Grace in the evening's main event.

Flanked by Kaleb (with a K, remember), Tenille found herself on the defensive for a large portion of the bout, seeing as 'Thicc Mama Pump' busted out a barrage of stiff strikes to the jaw of Dashwood, as well as spiking her on her neck with a Michinoku driver. Despite all this, though, Tenille didn't look at all rusty, capitalising on a Kaleb distraction to boot the former Knockouts Champion in the side of the head for the win.

This could have been placed anywhere on the card, and it would have delivered. The fact they were given the main event spot says a lot about how Impact management view the current state of the Knockouts division. It's happened on a handful of occasions this year where the Knockouts have main evented, and it's matches like this that prove they're more than deserving of being in such a position. The Knockouts division has never been more on fire than it currently is.
