9 Ups & 4 Downs From Impact Wrestling (Sep 22)

Downs...

4. Brian Myers

When it was announced Brian Myers would be joining Impact Wrestling following his WWE release, there was a bit of excitement in the air for the arrival of 'The Prince of Queens'. His first official night in the company saw him answering Eddie Edwards' open challenge for the World Championship, albeit in a losing effort. Regardless, you can't argue against having a World Championship opportunity on your debut.

Since then, however, he's severely stagnated. Two cheap wins over Willie Mack were followed by a loss to 'Chocolate Thunder', and now he's out here flipping tables backstage for no real reason. Technically, Mack also cheated to win a match against the former Curt Hawkins, and even if he hadn't, Myers still has the advantage over Willie with two wins to one. Having him being berated by Tommy Dreamer in some sort of weird father/son relationship was mind-boggling.

End all of this, and just use Brian Myers correctly. It seemed to be going that way in the first place. What changed?
