Killian Dain may be beyond saving on the black-and-gold brand if the underwhelming post-squash beatdown on Boa was the best idea they had for him as a post-Matt Riddle rehabilitation. Mainly because it was so annoyingly similar to it.
Riddle/Dain felt like one of the bigger disappointments from the brand this year, but the former Sanity man hasn't yet flexed the fire in Full Sail that got him hired in the first place. Perhaps the most obvious victim of the formulaic approach to angles, Dain's fury feels extremely stage-managed and it comes at the expense of the big blusterous spots they book for him.
Neither bully or b*stard this week, he was simply a bore.
