Pretty much every NXT insurgent was presented last night in the most hallowed light, readily informing anyone not in the know of their various virtues. That, somehow, did not apply to Matt Riddle and Keith Lee.

The Original Bro has to conspire very hard not be a babyface, and conspire he did on SmackDown. After interrupting a Sami Zayn promo alongside new partner Keith Lee, the pair chased down the politically homebound Zayn like a couple of thugs. There was no particular reason for Sami to be on the end of a mugging, who tried to wheedle his way out of the situation, other than that being his lot in life.

"This is not going to end well for Sami Zayn!" laughed Renee Young on commentary, as the two bigger man hunted him down, before summarily battering him in the ring. Of course, the pair couldn't help but be cheered - everybody knew who they were, and already liked them - but any of those new viewers SmackDown is hoping to attract probably deduced they were just a couple of complete a*sehole.

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
