As superb as the assorted NXT invasions were throughout the show - and as cute as Triple H echoing his post-WrestleMania XIV promo was - it wasn't necessarily an ideal look to have The Game tower over his Full Sail troops like their over-protective dad at the end of the night.

For one, it made the Performance Center lot look like children, students even, a tag they are trying to shake off as a big balled TV concern on USA. Secondly, for lack of a better term, it p*ssed all over the ongoing programmes on NXT itself, as all differences were put aside for a big group hug.

Ultimately, the point was to create a cool visual - which, as per this article's header, it clearly did - and perhaps inspire some interest come Wednesday, so this is only a minor trifle.

He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
