9 Ups & 5 Downs From Last Night's WWE SmackDown (29 Nov)
6. Save Us, Sheamus
Comparisons between Sheamus and his fellow Irishman Finn Bálor will undoubtedly be made after Sheamus returned full of hell and hatred for SmackDown, but it was impossible not be charmed by 'The Great White's salient assessment of this billion dollar brand.
Referring to the bunch of "misfits and cowards" before reeling off "A Fiend, A King, A Shorty G...whatever the hell that is" as relevant examples, the former WWE Champion came across like a contemporary Bob Holly ready to win the belt (back) and beat everybody just for being such f*cking jerks in the first place.
On it's own terms, this was exhilarating. Here's hoping they actually let him out of whatever room he was in to actually go and pick a fight before the whole thing descends into parody.
