9 Ups & 5 Downs From Last Night's WWE SmackDown (29 Nov)

2. This Miz-ness

Daniel Bryan The Miz
WWE

As the third man in the storyline, The Miz has been far more entertaining than both Daniel Bryan and Bray Wyatt as the straw that stirs the murky, spiked drink.

The rich history between Bryan and 'The A-Lister' (ignoring most of last year's hugely disappointing programme) has informed a series of serious-eyed conversations between the two, with Miz serving as an unwelcome voice of reason for the fried former WWE Champion.

There was logic in this particular chat too - Finn Bálor and Seth Rollins have turned heel since feuding with The Fiend, which was smartly reframed as them "not being the same" since interacting with Bray's big baddie.

This was good sh*t instead of such good sh*t, and long may it continue.
