2. Karrion Kross Provokes Samoa Joe... Again

Wrestling can be really simple sometimes. And that's arguably when it's at its purest. In the case of Karrion Kross and Samoa Joe's interactions on this week's NXT, simple led to sizzle.

After being joined by security early in the night to ensure the two didn't come to blows, Joe stormed out to the CWC on the back of Kross standing tall on the commentary desk and provoking him once again. Sensing the perilous situation heading his way, the NXT Champion would disappear shortly after. But that didn't stop the former two-time NXT Champion exploding through those assigned to keeping the piece with devastating ease.

Unleashing the caged animal on a bunch of faceless goobers was definitely the right call here. It reminded those watching on just how much of a beast the veteran badass can be on his day, and also highlighted once again how Kross can use Joe's fury against him by tricking him into losing his cool when the pressure is at its highest.

Keeping these two apart up until the go-home show for TakeOver 36 would be the wisest call for both parties. But either way, when these two monster finally do come to blows once again, expect carnage and chaos aplenty... and possibly the sound of "and new!" ringing out around the CWC.
