That silence you heard, following an “already in the ring” moment, was the death knee of Zack Ryder & Curt Hawkins as Raw Tag Team Champions.

It has to be the case, right?

You could almost hear a pin drop during the champs’ match against the Viking Raiders, with fans barely reacting to any Ryder/Hawkins comeback. This can’t bode well for the accidental champs, who lucked into a win at WrestleMania and have managed to win a few more matches since then.

The story of breaking Curt Hawkins’ epic losing streak was a nice one, but the storyline has long since run its course. No one cares about the duo any more, and they’re not being booked seriously. Given the results of Raw, they’re time on top has got to be drawing to a close, right?

It might actually be a safe bet to make at this point.
