9 Ups And 5 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (Dec 3rd)

Ups...

9. Crews To The Rescue

When you look at the Raw roster, there’s a dearth of babyfaces who can potentially stand up to Baron Corbin. With Roman Reigns on the shelf, Seth Rollins in his own personal feud and Braun Strowman sidelined, there’s only a handful of guys who can step up.

So it was great to see WWE remember that Apollo Crews supposedly wanted to make an impact last time and have him provide some backup for Finn Balor, repaying the Irishman’s debt from earlier. Balor had helped out Dolph Ziggler and Elias, and Crews did the same by taking out the Singh brothers, allowing Finn to topple Jinder Mahal.

Sure, Mahal leveled Apollo with a kick outside, but at least he showed up and did something. That’s more than you can say for Crews during the past couple years.
