When we saw the brackets for this year’s King of the Ring tournament, you couldn’t help but think that Cesaro versus Samoa Joe could be the show-stealer.

And then we found that it was going to open the tournament and lived up to expectations.

Joe and Cesaro had a hard-hitting match from the opening bell, with the Swiss Superman nailing a European Uppercut right away, and both men pounding each other with chops, uppercuts, punches, kicks and other moves. It wasn’t a long match, but it was all action from the get-go.

The only disappointment was that someone had to lose, which was Cesaro in this case, as Samoa Joe advanced.
