9 Ways To Introduce Shinsuke Nakamura To WWE Roster

5. A Surprise Entrant In The Andre Battle Royal

Nakamura is deserving of a much bigger spotlight than being one of 30 midcarders and castaways thrown into a match designed to get guys a WrestleMania payday that otherwise would have been left off the card.

So did Hideo Itami, but that didn't stop him from making his (one night only) main roster debut in the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal - before being unceremoniously eliminated and spending the next few years injured or in purgatory.

Debuting Nakamura in the match would be good for little more than a nice pop from the live crowd, but I can't see them letting him win - all signs point to this being Braun's moment - and having him lose his first night in is a bad move for a guy who is going to have an uphill climb to begin with despite the fact that there's a passionate segment of the fanbase that will be heavily invested in his success.

Hopefully WWE doesn't go this route, and has bigger things in store for the former NXT champion.
