9 Wrestlers AEW Will Sign In 2024

6. Eric Redbeard

Eric Redbeard has turned up in AEW on a handful of occasions and kicked f*cking ass every time, so why not?

This is a man who deputised for of all people Fénix, at Revolution 2022, and nobody lamented the fact that one of the most exciting wrestlers of all-time missed a big trios match. Redbeard's exchanges with Brody King were spectacular. Two winged behemoths made incredulous, how-are-they-doing-that magic in what might have been the greatest pre-show match in the history of professional wrestling on pay-per-view. It was incredible, and Redbeard was the highlight.

AEW doesn't need Redbeard, but at this stage, they don't need anybody.

He is a giant who can really move in that ring, and people have been drawn to his work for years. Write a list of the most awesome forgotten gems in modern WWE history, and his name should be all over it. He's worked some of the best tag team and trios matches ever in WWE, those you remember fondly (Vs. the Shield, Elimination Chamber 2014) and have somehow forgotten (with Luke Harper Vs. Daniel Bryan & Roman Reigns, Hell In A Cell 2019).

AEW's trios division has declined greatly in 2023 - genre specialist Redbeard could elevate it in 2024.
