Dean Ambrose has had an interesting year after the breakup of The Shield. They put him in a feud with Seth Rollins that he didn't win, which led to a feud with Bray Wyatt that he also didn't win. The start of 2015 hasn't been great for him, but at least he's a part of the Payback main event now. A strong rumor surrounding him is that he might go heel. He was actually The Shield member that was set to go heel last year before they changed their minds and turned Seth Rollins instead. Things have worked out just fine with Seth in that spot, but it might be what Ambrose needs to become a top guy too. If you look at how WWE's roster is currently constructed, they really don't have a lot of top heels other than Rollins, Bray Wyatt and Sheamus. There's Kane and Big Show too, but they lose most of their matches as veterans. It's unlikely that they would be pushed that hard. It may be difficult for Ambrose to ascend the babyface ranks to be a true top guy. Going heel could be the best thing for his career. It's something that is very likely to happen at some point this year.
