Samoa Joe is WWE bound. It's been known among the online wresting community for several months now. He left TNA Wrestling after nearly a decade there and as soon as he was free there were questions about WWE signing the 36 year old. Within the next month or two his WWE arrival is expected to be official. Why the delay? It's usually due to the medical testing as well as other factors that usually take a few months. We knew when Kevin Owens, Hideo Itami and Finn Balor signed with WWE months in advance, but nobody could say anything officially until the time was right. That's just the WWE way of making sure everything is in working order before they announce a signing official. When Joe debuts in WWE, he'll have a different name most likely. Even though the name Samoa Joe is known among most wrestling fans, WWE doesn't want a guy using a name that they used in TNA, Ring of Honor or elsewhere. Usually fans complain about it, but then they get over it quickly as they get used to the new name. What we don't know for sure is whether he'll debut in NXT or on the main roster. Most likely it will be in NXT although the assumption is he won't be in NXT for that long due to his age as well as experience. Joe's WWE debut is something a lot of fans are looking forward to more than anything this year.
