9 WWE Superstars Who Could Be So Much More Than They Currently Are
2. Cesaro
Voted the most underrated wrestler in the industry by the Wrestling Observer Newsletter for four years running between 2013 and 2016, Cesaro has yet to get that sustained singles run most fans have been waiting years to see. It's not that WWE hasn't offered moments of promise for the Swiss Superman, but, like clockwork, they pop him back into tag team action where he's a proven commodity and extremely successful. Pigeonholing him as a tag team competitor isn't the best use for him.
Cesaro is, pound-for-pound, the strongest talent on either WWE roster. He's creative, inventive, a soldier who battles through every match and he's able to put on top-quality bouts with any level of competitor. The only thing he's not given much credit for is his mic skills. Even in that regard, he's underrated.
Currently part of the SmackDown Live's tag team division, he and Sheamus aren't being used. The former tag champs are nothing more than a team that once ruled Raw but now can't be squeezed into a two-hour show. That needs to change and WWE needs to see if Cesaro can actually take the ball and run with it.
