With WWE having released 13 wrestlers and one writer on Friday as part of yet another round of mass cuts by the company, it appears that Adam Cole received this news while streaming on Twitch.

A huge gamer, the one-time NXT Champion was playing through Hollow Knight on Friday. As pointed out by Reddit user Haltonn, there's a moment in the stream where Cole receives a text message and is left visibly shook.

While it's purely speculation that this text is regarding WWE's latest group of releases, the timeframe certainly matches up to the same time that WWE's cuts were being revealed - with this reaction to be found at the 2:01:57 mark of Cole's stream.

Making this moment all the more poignant and emotional, of course, is the beautiful, atmospheric music of the wonderful Hollow Knight playing while the former Undisputed Era leader takes a moment to process the situation.

For those who may have missed it, Friday saw WWE announce the releases of Ever-Rise, Breezango, the Bollywood Boyz, Killian Dain, Marina Shafir, Tony Nese, Ariya Daivari, August Grey, Curt Stallion, Arturo Ruas and writer Kenice Mobley.

This latest round of releases follows similar cuts earlier this month, back in May, and shortly after WrestleMania 37 in April - in addition to several other releases throughout the rest of the year.
