AEW Boss Tony Khan Refuses To Talk About MJF

MJF hasn't been seen since the 1 June episode of Dynamite; Tony Khan doesn't care.

AEW chief Tony Khan is point blank refusing to field questions about MJF's current situation.

Tony talked about everything else during his traditional post-pay-per-view media scrum after Forbidden Door, but he wouldn't entertain any Friedman chatter. When that question was asked (it was inevitable), Khan said: "Especially after the great show we did...I’m not going to comment on it, but it’s a fair question to ask. I’m not going to cover that one right now".

Interestingly enough, Tony hasn't said much of anything about MJF's contractual issues since the controversial heel cut a memorable shoot promo on the 1 June episode of Dynamite. That had the pro wrestling world abuzz, but AEW declined to follow up on the hype.

MJF hasn't been seen on company programming since either.

Khan had to know that reporters at the press conference would fancy a big scoop on Friedman. He seemed prepared for those questions though, and wouldn't be drawn on giving sites anything juicy to go on. It appears this saga is set to roll on for a good while yet.
