AEW owner Tony Khan publicly thanked fans on Twitter for shifting pro wrestling's "balance of power" recently.

Khan was elated after Dynamite logged its "biggest audience of 2020" and said the show's rating was "one of the biggest numbers we've ever done since our debut".

Wednesday's episode pulled 995,000 viewers on TNT, which boils down to a 0.45 rating in the key 18-49 demographic. Comparatively, WWE's NXT lured in 659,000 viewers for a 0.17 rating in the same demo. Tony is taking that as a sign that power is shifting towards AEW's side, and wanted to pat loyal fans on the back for starting "a revolution".

You might not be shocked to learn that AEW's next pay-per-view (on 27 February 2021) is called Revolution. Ever the business man, Mr. Khan.

This week marked AEW's best ratings since the 16 October 2019 edition of Dynamite. That show, which was also opposed by NXT, drew 1,014,000 viewers on TNT. The promotion are drawing closer to smashing that one million mark yet again.

There's no doubt, however, that Tony's comments will rile some on social media up. Some have already taken the AEW figurehead to task.
