AEW Double Or Nothing 2024: 10 Nightmares That Could Come True

7. Mox Says ’Screw It! I’ll Bleed Too!’

A quick glance at the DoN card reveals all. Both the 'Barbed Wire Steel Cage' and 'Anarchy In The Arena' attractions are likely to feature some blood here or there (more so when the barbed wire gets involved), and that doesn't leave a lot of room for claret elsewhere on the show. Someone write that on a piece of paper and hand it to Jon Moxley.

'PLZ DON'T BLEED, MOX!'.

Now, cast your minds back to Jon's immediate run post-WWE in 2019. He became an old-school brute in New Japan, and brought that style with him to AEW after debuting on the very first Double Or Nothing. Back then, Moxley didn't over-rely on blood to make his matches dramatic. He was the drama.

This weekend's scrap vs. Konosuke Takeshita definitely doesn’t need the red stuff. Moxley should leave that to the cage bout and ‘Anarchy In The Arena’; it's only respectful to know your place on the card and defer to more important matches, after all.
