Result: Kazarian and Daniels kill Lindaman with the Best Meltzer Ever for the win (13:40).

Rating: That SoCal promo sure was rough, huh? Thankfully they proved they've still got it where it counts in the ring, though.

This was a rock solid opener and a brilliantly paced showcase for AEW talent both young and old, and made a very compelling argument for the company going the NJPW route with a trios division in the near-future.

The match also introduced AEW's 10-count rule for non-legal team members - it doesn't really change the ebb and flow of the matches much, but at least makes the ref look like less of a dope.

SCU definitely should've lost, but it's tough to complain when Christopher Daniels and Frankie Kazarian continue to do their thing so damn well. 7/10
