AEW Dynamite Beats WWE Raw 18-49 Rating, Tops 1 Million Viewers
Dynamite scored its highest P18-49 rating since September, outdoing WWE Raw in the process.
AEW Dynamite continues to reap benefits from the recent TNT-to-TBS switch this week, with the show soaring to its best ratings in several months.
As originally reported by Wrestlenomics' Brandon Thurston, the 19 January episode of Dynamite was watched by an average of 1.032 million viewers across its two hours. This included 570,000 viewers in the key 18-49 demographic for a rating of 0.44.
This means Dynamite's P18-49 number was the highest it has been since the 29 September 2021 episode. In addition, the show scored its best overall viewership (P2+) since 6 October. P18-49 was up 13% compared to the previous week while P2+ increased by 7%.
Dynamite ended up outdoing this week's episode of WWE Raw in P18-49, with WWE's former flagship hitting a rating of 0.43. This is the first time Dynamite has beaten Raw since the week of 13 September 2021.
In addition, Dynamite finished first on the night amongst original cable telecasts, outdoing a couple of live NBA games on ESPN.
Last week saw Dynamite tie with Raw in terms of its P18-49 rating, though the WWE show edged AEW out by 2,000 viewers in that category.
