AEW's Full Gear 2022 go-home episode of Dynamite suffered a ratings drop in the face of intense NBA competition this week.

As originally reported by Wrestlenomics' Brandon Thurston, Dynamite's 16 November episode was watched by an average of 818,000 P2+ viewers across its two hours.

This overall viewership figure included around 365,000 aged 18 to 49 for a P18-49 rating of 0.28. With this number, Dynamite finished fourth on the night amongst original cable telecasts, outdone only by NBA coverage spanning several hours (and two games) on ESPN.

Dynamite's numbers were the shows lowest in its regular 8 PM, Wednesday timeslot since 15 June 2022, in both P2+ and P18-49. Overall viewership was down 12% compared to the previous week, with P18-49 dipping 11%.

Match-wise, Claudio Castagnoli and Bryan Danielson vs. Chris Jericho and Sammy Guevara, plus Toni Storm vs. Anna Jay A.S. took top billing on Wednesday. The show was also marketed on pre-advertised talking segments featuring top stars Jon Moxley and MJF, who closed the episode. Those two fight for Moxley's AEW World Championship at Full Gear this Saturday evening (19 November).
