This past Wednesday's edition of AEW Dynamite, subtitled 'Holiday Bash', drew over one million viewers for the first time since the company's 6 October episode.

Showbuzz Daily reported that the show pulled 1.020 million viewers on TNT; for reference, the 6 October edition drew 1.053 million.

That's not all Tony Khan and AEW have to shout about after their Christmas lead in though. Dynamite scored a 0.37 rating in the key 18-49 demographic, which is up 19.35% from last week’s 0.31 number. Breaking that down in pure numbers, 0.37 says that 480,000 folks from the cherished 18-49 demo watched the show.

Wrestlenomics stated that figure is up from 398,000 the prior week.

Khan might also be chuffed to learn that Dynamite ranked #2 on this week's Cable Top 150. AEW's flagship soared from the #5 position for last week's 'Winter Is Coming' episode.

The overall viewership for Holiday Bash is up 31.61% over the same episode slot in 2020 too.

AEW would like ratings to keep trending in this direction full-time. The promotion would obviously love for Dynamite to break the one million mark regularly, and for Rampage to supplement that weekly interest from fans.
