AEW Full Gear 2020: 10 Things That Must Happen

There are a few slow-burn heel turns manifesting in All Elite. Kenny Omega is doing his subtle arrogance thing, and Cody is starting to show off some old-school swagger as TNT Champion. It's working, and so is the story that Rhodes (wink wink, nudge nudge) doesn't know how far Arn Anderson will go on his behalf.

At Full Gear, ol' Arn needs to cheat.

Darby Allin also needs to take Cody to his limits and come within a whisker of leaving with that tarted-up title himself. The TNT Title is a fantastic platform for Cody to work with younger talent - it clicked with Orange Cassidy recently, and it'll work here again with Darby. All they need is some time and a good story.

If AEW can successfully tease that Allin would've won without Anderson's interference, then they'll be onto something. Meanwhile, Cody can be blissfully ignorant to some Four Horsemen-esque shenanigans, and keep claiming he's the best.
