8. MJF’s Crew Annihilate Sting Backstage
Sting has already taken a kicking from MJF's stablemates, so another one makes sense. Midway through the pay-per-view, the announcers could get word that there's an altercation in the back. Then, cameras would rush to the scene to find Wardlow and Shawn Spears smashing the Stinger with his own baseball bat.
Post-beating, MJF would stop by to add more fuel to the fire with his words. This is exactly the kind of thing a self-admitted d*ckhead like Friedman would do anyway, and it'd add a little more spice to his upcoming match with Darby Allin.
'Where were you when your hero needed you, Darby?!'.
This beatdown would excuse Sting from ringside for MJF vs. Allin, and it'd heap on more underdog aura for Darby. He uses that to great effect, after all. Going for some one man vs. an army atmosphere (like Sting enjoyed against the nWo aeons ago) would work for this storyline.
