AEW Full Gear 2023: 10 Nightmares That Could Come True

6. The Golden Jets Fall Flat

AEW may plump for the boring option on Saturday in another tag clash.

Some out there in the wrestling fandom will see things differently, but...The Young Bucks back in the hunt for tag gold sounds well f'n boring to this guy in late-2023/early-2024. He has zero desire to see Matt and Nick hold those AEW Tag-Team belts any time soon.

That's why it'd be such a nightmare if Kenny Omega and Chris Jericho weren't given the nod this weekend. They're both established stars too, but there's something fresher about the old rivals coming together as The Golden Jets. Omega and Jericho must ride this momentum all the way to winning titles at least once.

Tag matches are the best use of Jericho heading into the new year. The veteran still has something to offer, but some of his bouts have been a tad painful to watch (that stinker vs. Adam Cole still sticks out), so keeping him away from singles sounds like a plan.

The Bucks shouldn't hold onto their title shot.
