AEW Holds Talent Meeting Before Dynamite
Another week, another big AEW talent meeting...
All Elite Wrestling held its latest talent meeting prior to last night's episode of Dynamite, Fightful Select reported before the show.
The meeting was scheduled to start at 4:15 PM EST. Wrestlers, referees, coaches, and announcers were all due to be present, with Bryan Danielson, Chris Jericho, and Jon Moxley set to lead the affair.
Jericho's participation is notable, given the commendation he has come in for behind the scenes for his calm, level-headed approach towards recent chaos in AEW. Several roster members have praised the former World Champion for how he has handled the ongoing CM Punk/The Elite situation.
Details of what went down during the meeting are yet to be made public. Prior to it, it is understood that AEW had scheduled a 4 PM EST Zoom call with CM Punk and Ace Steel, who brawled with The Young Bucks and Kenny Omega following Punk's incendiary comments at Sunday's post-All Out 2022 media scrum.
Omega, Nick and Matt Jackson, Punk, and Steel are amongst a group of AEW personnel currently surviving suspensions in All Out's aftermath. An injured Punk has since vacated the company's World Title, with The Elite stripped of the World Trios Championships too.
