AEW Original Provides Big Status Update
The latest on this early AEW signing and his future with the promotion.
AEW original Peter Avalon is now accepting indie bookings.
Having previously promised to deliver a significant career announcement on Monday, the former 'Librarian' came through with news that he is opening up his schedule for "ALL independent dates and appearances":-

Avalon has kept only a sporadic independent schedule since inking his AEW contract in 2019. This is the first time he has publically made himself available on such a scale, having operated exclusively in AEW and a handful of smaller, California-based groups over the past few years, with his home promotion's increased freedom giving him (and many of his rostermates) the ability to branch out.
This announcement comes days after Fightful Select published a report stating the outlet learned in mid-December that Avalon's AEW contract was originally due to expire within the next few weeks, but hadn't heard anything more since then. Peter was, however, booked for 15 January's AEW Dark tapings in Orlando.
Avalon's former onscreen associate, Leva Bates, has confirmed that Peter is still with AEW:-
No, he’s still there. Just adding indy dates

Signed by AEW sometime during the promotion's first few months of operation in 2019, Avalon currently comprises one-quarter of The Wingmen with JD Drake, Ryan Nemeth, and Cezar Bononi.
