Chavo Guerrero Jr. has been removed from the company's official roster page, seemingly surprising the 51-year-old himself.

While Chavo was on the page as recently as last week, this is no longer the case. Why this has happened is currently unclear, even to Guerrero, who has tweeted the following:-

Prior to this, Guerrero had said the following in a since-deleted tweet:-

That’s news to me! I guess having @TonyKhan telling me to go film Young Rock Season 2, & my job will be waiting for me when I’m done, didn’t mean much

Thus, Chavo's AEW status is now up in the air.

The veteran debuted for AEW as Andrade El Idolo's "executive consultant" on the 21 July 2021 episode of Dynamite. He was written out of company programming a few months later, however, returning to his role as a wrestling coordinator on season two of Young Rock, though it was expected that he would return to AEW after these duties had been fulfilled. Per Dave Meltzer, Guerrero's AEW contract included a provision allowing him to work through All Out 2021 before taking off temporarily.
