AEW Releases Statement Regarding Jimmy Havoc's Status
Havoc has been accused of mental and physical abuse towards a former partner.
AEW has released a statement on Jimmy Havoc's status in the wake of yesterday's accusations.
Havoc is one of the many names being mentioned in the #SpeakingOut campaign on Twitter, with his former partner accusing him of both mental and physical abuse throughout their relationship.
In response to these allegations, AEW have released a statement wishing him the best as the wrestler receives treatment for mental health and substance abuse issues.
“We wish Jimmy Havoc all the best as he receives treatment and counseling in an effort to overcome the mental health and substance abuse challenges in his life. We are aware of various reports related to Jimmy. We are evaluation his status with our company and will address it when he has successfully completed his rehabilitation.”
The statement stresses that AEW are evaluating the star's status in the company and they will only officially address it after he has completed his rehabilitation period.
Other performers such as Matt Riddle, Jordan Devlin, El Ligero, Travis Banks, Jack Gallagher and David Starr have also been named as offenders by numerous women online, with Riddle, Devlin and Ligero all denying the claims.
