AEW Revolution 2021: 35 Things You Probably Missed

12. JR’s Vince McMahon Dig

Sting Jim Ross Pronouns

Listen to enough WWE commentary and you'll notice that Michael Cole, Tom Phillips and others rarely use words like "he", "she" or "they". Instead, they're encouraged to name wrestlers every single time they're mentioned; for example, "Wow! Shayna Baszler just kicked Alexa Bliss hard, and Bliss didn't see Baszler's foot coming" as opposed to, "Wow! Shayna Baszler just kicked her hard, and Bliss didn't see her foot coming".

JR and Taz had a bit of a laugh with that Vince McMahon directive at Revolution.

Ross said that Sting and Allin were making Team Taz wait, and Taz agreed before adding, "That's not gonna' be good for them". He then said their names, which prompted JR to reply, "No pronouns here!".
