AEW Revolution 2023: 10 Things That Must Happen

9. Jamie Hayter Pins Ruby Soho

There's only one reason why Ruby Soho is even involved in the AEW Women's Title situation this weekend: Ruby is there to eat the pin and let Jamie Hayter vs. Saraya bloom out of the three-way into a singles clash at Double Or Nothing. That's 100% All Elite's plan. If it isn't, it should be.

No, no...it is.

There are still concerns about Saraya's wobbly heel run alongside Toni Storm (which, let's be honest, isn't really what people wanted to see from either woman), but she's maybe the only credible challenger Hayter has heading into the biggest show of the year. One of few, at least.

This Sunday, Jamie should use Soho as collateral and prolong her title reign. What's the other option? Saraya pins Ruby instead, Hayter points out she didn't beat the champ, then the story progresses from there? That doesn't sound anywhere near as clean, and could totally halt Jamie's momentum.
