AEW Star Says He Misses CM Punk

Someone on AEW's roster has admitted that he's been missing CM Punk backstage.

'Punkhausen' never stood a chance.

AEW star Danhausen has admitted via Twitter that he misses CM Punk. That news comes hot on the heels of praise for Punk from FTR's Dax Harwood - he stood up for CM's influence on the company and refused to pile on following Punk's controversial suspension and apparently-inevitable departure once Tony Khan thrashes things out.

Danhausen feels the same as Dax. He loved having Punk around behind the scenes, and clearly wishes things had turned out differently for the former WWE man in All Elite territory. That fiery post-All Out presser happened months ago now, but there's still a lot of interest in how things will end between Punk and AEW legally.

A comeback seems highly unlikely, let's be honest.

Danhausen has made a habit of teaming with random wrestlers since joining AEW himself. 'Punkhausen' could've happened at some point, but the curse-giving comedy man never had the opportunity to make that a reality.

During the same online Q&A, Mr. "Very Nice, Very Evil" also said that Darby Allin and Sting are his dream tag-team partners right now. Darbyhausen? Stingerhausen? Hey, it could happen soon.
