AEW Star Teases Major Babyface Turn
Looks like somebody is preparing for a big-time change in AEW - in more ways than one.
All Elite Wrestling's Matt Hardy was in a reflective mood on Twitter on Tuesday evening, seemingly coming to the realisation that, as a character, he had taken advantage of his Andrade Hardy Family Office stable members in the name of the mighty dollar.
Hardy tweeted the following, teasing a babyface turn by saying it was time to rediscover his old self:-
I became wrapped up in making as much money as I could in @AEW, much like those who came before me.

This follows weeks of teasing between Hardy and his fellow AHFO members. On top of walking out on Isiah Kassidy's match with Keith Lee last month, Hardy has continually squabbled with his stablemates, whom he has been taking advantage of financially since bringing the group together.
At Revolution 2022 this weekend, Hardy, Kassidy, and Andrade El Idolo were defeated by Darby Allin. Sammy Guevara, and Sting in a chaotic tornado six-man tag team match.
The face turn tease is likely part of the build to Jeff Hardy's seemingly inevitable AEW debut. The younger Hardy has been linked with AEW from the moment he was released by WWE last December. Now, with the rumours intensifying by the day and his 90-day non-compete set to expire today, Jeff hitting AEW and reuniting with Matt seems all but certain.
