AEW Wrestler "Supports" Sasha Banks' WWE Walkout
This AEW star doesn't understand why some fans continue to "sh*t on" the WWE rebel.
AEW man Dax Harwood has encouraged wrestling fans not to "sh*t on" Sasha Banks following her WWE walkout last month.
The FTR star, who recently captured the IWGP Tag-Team Titles alongside partner Cash Wheeler at Forbidden Door, told The New York Post that he's 100% behind Sasha's decision. In fact, as Dax pointed out, he and his then-Revival buddy Wheeler "did the same thing" several years ago.
FTR left WWE in April 2020, but quickly rebounded to get back on track in All Elite Wrestling. Since then, the duo has thrived and grown their brand whilst working some of the best tag-team matches of the modern era.
Harwood believes Banks can do something similar with her own career.
He said that Sasha is right to demand better from WWE, and that she was never going to be content "to continue to get pushed to the side"; WWE had placed Banks in a tag-team with Naomi and stuck their Women's Tag belts on the pair.
That, apparently, wasn't enough to make the 'Legit Boss' happy. Dax fully supports her decision to walk out on the company and strive for better.
