Anna Jay doesn't think AEW has a prayer of booking The Dark Order as heels.

Anna Jay doesn't think that wrestling fans will ever boo AEW's Dark Order again.

'99' appeared on 'Talk Is Jericho' recently, and said Brodie Lee's recent passing means the group are probably babyfaces for good. Jay also said that Dark Order are "even more like a family on screen and off screen" following the tragic passing of their former leader.

There was time for a little 'Did You Know?' action in the interview too.

Anna revealed where the '99' moniker actually comes from. It was Brodie's idea, but she didn't have a clue what prompted it until hearing his appearance on AEW's Unrestricted podcast. There, Lee said that legendary ice hockey star Wayne Gretzky regularly wore the number on his jersey.

So, he bestowed that upon Jay. She was honoured when she found that out.

Anna is likely right about Dark Order's babyface prospects. There was such an outpouring of emotion following Lee's death, and the true humanity of members like Colt Cabana, John Silver and others shone through during AEW's tribute episode of Dynamite.

Now, it looks likely that the formerly-sinister stable will become a firm favourite, and Jay is cool with that.
