A long-time wrestling fan, the ATT founder can be seen at WCW Nitro over 23 years ago.

Thanks to eagle-eyed Reddit user Darrenvin, AEW's Dan Lambert has been spotted in attendance for the 31 August 1998 episode of WCW Nitro.

Upon a revisit of that particular outing for WCW's Monday night flagship, Lambert can be spotted mere minutes into the broadcast. With Eric Bischoff and Hollywood Hogan in the ring to cut a promo, a pan to the crowd shows the American Top Team founder and a buddy smiling for the camera.

For those wondering, this was at a time when Hogan was feuding with the Warrior as Hollywood looked to 'get his win back' for his WrestleMania VI loss to the Parts Unknown native. Emanating from the Miami Arena in, well, Miami, Florida, it's fair to say that this Nitro was somewhat of a struggle to get through on a rewatch.

One particularly interesting note is that this episode of Nitro actually featured the inaugural AEW World Champion Chris Jericho. The WCW TV Champion at the time, Jericho would pick up a win over Disco Inferno on that August night. Of course, Jericho and Lambert have had their issues in AEW across the past year or so. Likewise, AEW's Tony Schiavone was at the commentary desk here.

Elsewhere, this WCW Nitro offering saw:

Other big names like Roddy Piper, DDP and the recently-split Steiner Brothers were also a part of the show, with the episode ending as Warrior emerged from a smoke cloud whilst the nWo bickered.
