Broken Brilliance on 7 November?

It seems the full scope of Matt Hardy's Broken Brilliance will be unleashed when the veteran wrestles Sammy Guevara at AEW Full Gear 2020 on 7 November.

Hardy has revealed that the duo's Elite Deletion will, indeed, by filmed at the Hardy Compound in North Carolina, doing so in the following promo:-

This means we are almost certainly getting a throwback to the world that made Hardy a viral sensation a few years ago, with the hype sparking a significant career revival that helped carry him and brother Jeff back to WWE.

Matt has played his Broken character several times since arriving on AEW television, but never engaged in one of his old cinematic-style matches, despite previously inviting Chris Jericho to the Compound for an Elite Deletion. Now, we're finally getting one.

Guevara and Hardy's Full Gear 2020 clash was formally announced on this week's episode of Dynamite. It was a controversial move, given the bevvy of unfortunate incidents that have befallen the duo since they started working together, with Hardy's All Out fall (and apparent concussion) the most notable of these. Here's hoping that both wrestlers emerge from the Elite Deletion unscathed.
